45 Ways to Get Involved!

Each year Habitat for Humanity in Alpena builds new homes for a family in need of simple, decent, affordable housing. Working as a volunteer on a Habitat project has many rewards. It is educational, you'll learn what really goes into the construction of a house. It is sociable... you meet the nicest people on a Habitat build site. It is healthy... fresh air, sunshine and exercise are regular fringe benefits. It is very satisfying... when the job is done, attendance at the Habitat house dedication where the new homeowner family receives the keys to their new home is a truly heartwarming experience. We invite you to come and see for yourself.
